now everyone knows

The NYC Marathon won "Event of the Year." Duh. Now the world knows what we all know. NOT Boston, NOT the Super Bowl, NOT the World Series, but our 26.2 miles of pain/determination/dedication/insanity. BIIIIG smile.

Really a nice morning. Again, saw my Dim Sum peeps, as well as my before picture. Was frankly worried, after we bonded, he disappeared. Actually told him "thought you'd fallen off the face of the earth." Nice to see he's ok.

St.Francis this am, in preparation for manana. The Brooklyn Half. Enjoy the run itself-Prospect Park first, so the tough part of the run is over, then you cruise for the 9 miles left (IF you don't shoot your load @ the start. A good course if you'd done it before). Downside? Parking. Oh well, gotta do it. Need that NYC Half!
Fortunately the weather should hold out. This week I was lucky to have only missed one day.
