THAT was fun!!! (AND did well)
Took the afternoon off to play in nyc and do the Wall St.3m. THAT was alotta fun! Was tempted to bail, POURING soaking rain, but alas, prereg. You pay, you run. Fortunately, it actually stopped! YAY!!!!! REALLY glad I sucked it up. Was fully prepared to run in the rain.
Hit the AMC for Hesher, great flick, then off to the run. Walked with a new bud, met him on the train. Amazing how running breaks the ice.
THOUSANDS showed, in spite of the weather. What a howl! AND did well, broke 9 again. With THIS crowd, packed together, no small feat. One side note, one guy was running with elbows @ 45 deg angles, passed him by moving his elbow. This was met with a "fuck you asshole." Lets just say I didn't let it go :).
On the way back, rode the E train w/a Beth Israel Cardiologist. She was a HOWL!!! We compared notes.
A great day, really fun.
