Def a CRAP race, but I DID finish.
The downside of not eating carbs can be: zero energy. Such was the case @ this am's 15k. For 10k I was ok, then the wheels came off, big time. Of course, doing a 5k the day before didn't help.
If I hadda do it all over again, would I do it the same? Yes. I did what I could, and am glad I did. AND, I had fun with my peeps. They kept me from me! Seeing Rick Saturday taking pics along the course, yelling "terrorist!," hangin' @ the Islanders game, really fun. Ok, my race pace sucked, I finished.
I was never a RACE person, I run to stay in shape, and that I did.
...although my time today REALLY sucked.
