odd, but good

Snow had been predicted for this am's 1/2. So, prepped for the worst. Had all my gear, found parking near the start (a miracle in nyc on a saturday), when...checked the crackberry, to see the NYRR website. Due to the weather, they made it an instant Q, merely for registering. Good for brotherfromanothermother (he called, told me he was bailing), not bad for me. All pressure was off. So, did it anyway. Did well for a run in shit conditions, and, since I was already there, went to the West side Y after for a spin class. Made for a great cooldown.

good thing I checked the website. :)
